Intermission: Howard’s Year of Living Photographically

As happened for millions and millions of people, when I got my first smartphone and suddenly had a camera in my pocket wherever I went, it was incredibly liberating. I started to look at the world with an eye toward composing and capturing images.

Fortunately, over the last year in which I could still hold my phone steadily and operate it, before my fingers and hands became too weak, I feel I really hit my stride as a photographer. I’m really proud of the work.

As you’ll see, I kinda specialized in flora (plants, flowers) and fauna (Laurel, Zuki the dog, Valentino & Neko: the Yin&Yang kitties).

I hope you enjoy this small sample. (Click on any image to enlarge.)
